Tech Ninja

This year, Tech Ninja had a new supervising teacher due to the absence of Ms. Yang. A few students asked to be put as Teachers on Google Classroom to manage things such as attendance, as the new teacher was extremely busy. To begin with, Tech Ninja was running smoothly, however as time went by, I noticed a few decisions and programs being incorporated into Tech Ninja that did not align with my own perspectives. At first, I was doubtful and even a bit annoyed with the new programs. However, looking back, I now realise the importance of being open-minded. It’s natural to have differing opinions, however a healthy environment needs those who are open to ideas and ready to improve them. Furthermore, adaptability is especially important in educational environments, where one can take an idea and improve it, leading to growth and innovation. Even though I disagreed with the new program, I needed to be able to suggest changes and adapt the idea, which improves the club overall.

Ultimately, this year’s Tech Ninja club has undergone significant change, from leadership to introduction of new programs. It has made me realise the necessity to be open-minded and ready to adapt. To sum it up, this experience has taught me to not only value my own opinions, but also the perspectives of others’.
